Patient Care:
Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
Help in the transportation of patients within the hospital.
Aid in positioning patients for comfort and to prevent bedsores.
Monitor and report any changes in the patient’s condition to the nursing staff.
Ward Maintenance:
Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the ward, including patient rooms and common areas.
Disinfect and clean medical equipment regularly.
Maintain and restock supplies such as linens, gowns, and other essentials.
Support to Medical Staff:
Assist doctors and nurses during medical procedures by providing necessary equipment and support.
Prepare and transport specimens, medical records, and other items as directed by medical staff.
Help in the administration of basic medical care under the supervision of qualified healthcare professionals.
Patient Transportation:
Transport patients to different departments (e.g., X-ray, MRI, surgery) using wheelchairs, stretchers, or beds.
Ensure the safe and comfortable transfer of patients during transportation.
Record Keeping and Reporting:
Maintain accurate logs of patient care activities and any incidents that occur during the shift.
Report maintenance issues or any equipment that is malfunctioning to the appropriate department.
