Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Institutional Sales professional in the healthcare sector, specifically focusing on OTC and pharmaceutical products. The position is located in Gurgaon. The primary responsibilities include managing institutional sales, developing relationships with key stakeholders, and promoting the company's diverse product range. Day-to-day tasks involve executing sales strategies, monitoring market trends, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead and expand our institutional sales of Healthcare Over-The-Counter (OTC) and Pharmaceutical products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets within hospitals, clinics, government institutions, and other relevant healthcare organizations. This role requires a strong understanding of the institutional healthcare market, proven sales leadership abilities, excellent relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical and OTC product landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Strategy and Planning:
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets for OTC and Pharmaceutical products within the institutional segment.
• Identify and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities for growth within the institutional market.
• Develop and manage sales budgets and forecasts.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns and product launches.
• Institutional Account Management:
• Identify, target, and build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within hospitals, clinics, government institutions, and other relevant healthcare organizations.
• Manage and nurture existing institutional accounts to maximize sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular visits and presentations to institutional clients to promote products and understand their needs.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with institutional clients.
• Team Leadership and Development:
• Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team focused on institutional sales.
• Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance appraisals.
• Motivate and coach the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.
• Sales Operations and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales progress.

• Utilize CRM systems effectively for sales management and reporting.
• Market Knowledge and Product Expertise:

• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities within the institutional healthcare market.
• Provide feedback to product development teams based on market insights and customer needs.
• Collaboration and Coordination:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, medical affairs, supply chain, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer service.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
