Inspector Trainee
Phoenix Technology Services USA Inc. is a progressive and innovative Directional Drilling Company. Driven by our client's needs, we are committed to providing more efficient and cost-effective drilling operations.
We have an opening for an Inspector Trainee based out of our Houston, TX location. Under the direction of the Inspection Manager, the Inspector Trainee uses a wide range of tools and instruments in the inspection of parts, assemblies, drawings, sketches, and specifications.
Responsibilities also include:
· Perform inspection procedures on material, parts and assemblies working from general drawings, sketches and specifications.
· Apply established inspection procedures while using a wide range of tools and instruments.
· Maintain calibration of a variety of pressure gauges and other instruments required for numerous testing applications.
· Communicate in a clear, professional manner with engineers as well as customers.
· Assist other departments with various projects when time permits.
· Perform all duties so as to meet the responsibilities listed in the Employee and Corporate HSE Handbooks.
· Perform duties according to the Company's quality system procedures and work instructions.
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED with 2-4 years of experience in a related field or facility. The successful candidate will have familiarity with common inspection tools and instruments: SAP, hardness tester. They will be able to read and interpret drawings, sketches and specifications and work under established inspection procedures.
