Clean Harbors is searching for a reliable and safety oriented I&E Maintenance Technician with an excellent mechanical aptitude to join our team!
The Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Technician will be responsible forperforming hands-on instrument checks, calibrations, and PLC Logic programming, along with diagnosing issues with control circuitry and assisting the electrical and maintenance departments with various tasks as needed.

• Troubleshoots instrument and control malfunctions
• Performs preventative maintenance checks and calibrations
• Maintains accurate records and logs as required
• Installs new system controls (including power wiring)
• Installs cabling, power distribution systems, and motor control centers
• Services and replaces motors and lighting
• Performs general electrical maintenance
• On Call required
• Other duties as assigned
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
• HS Diploma or Equivalent
• 3-5 years combined of plant experience
• Instrument and/or electrical training, degree, or certification preferred
• Mechanically inclined
• Journeyman Electrician License is a plus
• 1+ years experience in DCS systems preferred
• 1+ years VFD programming experience preferred
• Proficient in reading blueprints, electronic schematics and PID's (process instrumentation diagrams)
• 480v experience preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, bend, stand stoop, climb and work at heights
