Job Purpose :
To lead the human resource initiatives, manage recruitment and staffing, administer compensation and benefits, and ensure employee development and engagement, in line with the foundation’s mission and vision.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic HR Planning :
Align HR strategies with the organization’s business objectives.
Forecast HR requirements based on the growth plans of the foundation.
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
Recruitment and Selection :
Create job descriptions in collaboration with department heads.
Manage the complete recruitment process, ensuring timely and cost-effective hiring.
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
Employee Onboarding :
Design and oversee the induction and training process for new hires.
Performance Management :
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high-performance
Develop and implement performance review protocols.
Coach managers on performance management issues and processes.
Learning & Development :
Identify training needs and drive training initiatives to prepare employees for more significant responsibilities.
Employee Relations :
Address demands, grievances, or other issues to maintain a positive work environment.
Nurture a positive working environment
Compensation & Benefits :
Develop and implement competitive compensation plans.
Oversee the administration of employee benefits.
Policy Development and Documentation :
Review and update HR policies in line with current legislation and best practices.
Ensure compliance with all legal requirements, minimizing organizational risk.
Employee Engagement :
Develop strategies to promote a positive work culture and high levels of employee engagement.
Legal Compliance :
Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
Reporting :
Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
Requirements :
Educational Qualification : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; Master’s degree or MBA in HR will be a plus.
Experience : Minimum 5+ years of experience in an HR role with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
Proven working experience as an HR Manager or other HR Executive
People-oriented and results-driven
Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
Knowledge of HR systems and databases
In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
Skills : Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, proficiency in HRIS systems, knowledge of labor laws, and ability to design and implement HR policies.
Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
Familiarity with the non-profit sector and its challenges will be advantageous.
