HRIS Manager – ADP Implementation Systems Lead
Location: Toronto, ON – Summerhill Market

Summerhill Market is a boutique grocery retailer with multiple locations across Toronto, known for our chef-driven prepared foods, in-house bakery, and curated grocery selection. As we continue modernizing our People Culture operations, we’re looking to welcome a highly skilled HRIS Manager to lead the implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of our ADP Workforce Now platform.

This is a key systems role within our HR team, ideal for someone who is both strategic and hands-on—passionate about leveraging technology to streamline HR processes and elevate the employee experience across all touchpoints.

About the Role

The HRIS Manager will be the internal subject matter expert and systems owner for ADP Workforce Now, overseeing its configuration, integration, data integrity, and user adoption across all modules—including Payroll, ATS (Recruitment), LMS (Training), Performance Management, and Document Cloud.

Working closely with HR, Payroll, Operations, and IT, this role will ensure our HR systems are aligned, scalable, and delivering accurate, accessible data to support decision-making and compliance. You’ll also be a core contributor to ongoing process improvement and digital transformation initiatives within the People function.

Key Responsibilities

ADP System Ownership Optimization

Lead the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of ADP Workforce Now across all modules
Manage system updates, troubleshoot issues, and serve as the primary contact for ADP vendor support
Monitor and maintain data integrity across employee records, workflows, and reporting tools
Develop user training guides, conduct system onboarding, and support user adoption
Act as the in-house expert on system capabilities, recommending enhancements and process automation opportunities
Functional Module Oversight

Payroll: Ensure payroll-related data flows accurately and efficiently; collaborate with Payroll Specialist for execution
ATS (Recruitment): Configure job requisitions, workflows, and approvals for an efficient hiring experience
LMS (Learning): Maintain training libraries, assign mandatory learning, and track compliance certifications
Performance Management: Support goal-setting, evaluations, and review cycles within the platform
Document Cloud: Organize and secure employee documentation, digital signatures, and compliance records
Reporting, Compliance Continuous Improvement

Develop custom reports and dashboards to support leadership and compliance tracking
Support audits and regulatory reporting through clean and well-maintained HRIS data
Collaborate with HR and IT to align system processes with organizational needs and regulatory standards
Identify opportunities for process automation, system enhancements, and training programs
Who You Are

3–5+ years of hands-on HRIS experience, with a strong focus on ADP Workforce Now
Direct experience with multiple ADP modules including Payroll, ATS, LMS, Performance, and Document Cloud
Proven track record in system implementation, data governance, and cross-functional collaboration
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Skilled in creating user-friendly documentation and training content
Excellent communication and project management abilities
Experience in retail, food production, or multi-site environments is a strong asset
Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
