The Opportunity
We have a great opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to join the People and Culture (PC) team at the Department of Primary Industries and Regions (PIRSA) and contribute to shaping the future of South Australia's primary industries.
As a HR Support Officer, you’ll play a key role in delivering frontline workforce support through timely and accurate HR advice, customer service, and administrative assistance. You’ll be the first point of contact for general HR queries, with a particular focus on recruitment, contract management, and employment conditions. Your work will help streamline processes and enhance the overall delivery of HR services across the department.
About You
We're looking for someone who thrives on delivering great service, communicates with confidence, and builds strong relationships across all levels. You’ll be comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and bring a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset to everything you do.
Your understanding of HR or Administrative practices, preferably in the public sector along with your tech-savviness in HRMIS and Microsoft Office, will set you up for success. A relevant qualification or equivalent experience will be highly regarded and help you hit the ground running.

Special Conditions
Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a National Police Check (NPC) prior to being made an offer of employment.
Australian residency or current works permit is required (responsibility of applicant to provide evidence of a current work permit).
Opportunity up to May 2026.
Remuneration
ASO3 - $67,58+ min - $72,033 max per annum, plus superannuation
