Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all guests. This role requires a strong commitment to quality service, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience in hotel, custodial, or industrial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
Duties
Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed according to hotel standards and safety protocols
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
Assist with laundry services as needed
Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Requirements
Prior experience in cleaning, hospitality, or custodial roles is preferred but not required
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness
Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties efficiently
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of cleaning techniques for both hospitality settings and industrial environments is a plus
Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
