Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant to join our hospitality team. This role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest accommodations, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for providing excellent service. Prior hotel experience and familiarity with laundry procedures are preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
Duties
Clean and maintain guest rooms and public areas according to hotel standards
Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish supplies in guest rooms
Perform laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing
Ensure all cleaning supplies and laundry equipment are used safely and efficiently
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
Maintain cleanliness of storage areas, carts, and workstations
Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times
Requirements
Previous hotel experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for all duties
Experience with laundry processes is desirable
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and walking throughout shifts
Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
