Job Description
Crieff Hills is a 250-acre retreat centre and culinary farm in Puslinch, Ontario. Our mission is to inspire rest, renewal and transformation through spiritual connection, encounters with nature and engaging experiences.
We welcome thousands of guests each year for retreats, meetings, weddings, farm experiences, special events and personal stays. We are looking for a Hospitality Manager who can help make each of those experiences warm, welcoming and memorable.
About the Role
The Hospitality Manager is a key member of our Core Management Team and leads the hospitality experience at Crieff Hills. Working closely with the Executive Director and other staff, this person oversees bookings and guest relationships, supports revenue generation, coordinates events and provides leadership to hospitality staff.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who genuinely enjoys people and problem-solving and is equally comfortable welcoming a wedding couple, reviewing a budget, training a staff member or giving a property tour to prospective guests.
The successful candidate will be very organized, personable, proactive and able to balance excellent hospitality with the practical realities of running a sustainable organization.
What You'll Do
Guest Experience & Bookings
Create a warm, welcoming experience for individuals, groups, retreat participants and event guests, managing bookings from initial inquiry through arrival, stay and follow-up using in-house hospitality software (Retreat Guru)
Develop and maintain hospitality procedures and service standards.
Anticipate challenges and respond thoughtfully and promptly to guest concerns.
Gather and share guest feedback and build relationships that encourage repeat bookings.
Conduct property tours for prospective guests and clients.
Hospitality Revenue & Events
Develop creative strategies to increase hospitality revenue (pricing, packages, upgrades and add-ons) and identify opportunities to increase bookings during quieter periods.
