About Us:

At Lakewood Lodge, we believe in creating unforgettable experiences for children through adventure, learning, and a deep connection with nature. Our horse program is a vital part of our camp, fostering horsemanship skills and instilling a love for animals in our students.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead engaging horse games and sessions for students aged 6-15.
Provide instruction on horsemanship, horse care, and general welfare.
Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
Foster a positive and enthusiastic atmosphere, encouraging kids to explore and enjoy the outdoors.
Collaborate with our team to organize activities and promote a fun learning experience.
Other duties include Housekeeping, helping in the kitchen, animal care,etc (We are a small team and all contribute to all duties / responsibilities)
Qualifications:

Extensive knowledge and experience in handling and caring for horses.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to engage with children.
Passionate about horsemanship and outdoor activities.
Hardworking, organized, and a team player.
Prior experience in teaching or working with children is a plus.
