Job Summary:

A private household is seeking a trustworthy, detail-oriented, and experienced housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and organization in a well-kept residence. This is a part-time position working only Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working in private homes and understand the importance of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:General Cleaning:

Perform daily housekeeping duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing furniture.
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and tubs.
Clean kitchen surfaces, appliances, and cabinet exteriors.
Take out trash and recycling; replace liners.
Laundry Linen Care:

Wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry.
Iron and press clothes as needed.
Change bed linens and make beds.
Organization Maintenance:

Maintain overall tidiness of all rooms.
Organize closets, drawers, pantries, and storage areas.
Notify homeowner or estate manager of any repairs or maintenance needs.
Refill household supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.) as needed.
Special Tasks (as requested):

Occasional help with setting up or cleaning after small events.
Occasional deep cleaning projects (e.g., windows, baseboards, inside appliances).
Light pet care (feeding, letting pets out, cleaning pet areas) if applicable.
Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of professional housekeeping experience, preferably in private homes.
Reliable transportation to and from the residence in Houston 77056.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Strong references from previous private household employers.
Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
Respect for privacy and discretion is essential.
Physically fit: ability to lift up to 25 lbs, bend, stand, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Good communication skills; ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with high-end furnishings, fine linens, and specialty cleaning products.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Pet-friendly (if household includes animals).
Familiar with eco-friendly or hypoallergenic cleaning products.
