Experienced Heavy Truck/Equipment Mechanic
We are one of the South Shore's leading excavation contractors and we are offering an exciting opportunity to join our talented team of mechanics and service technicians. Working on our multi-million dollar fleet of some of the newest and most advanced heavy equipment and on highway trucks in the area. We are looking for an entry to mid-level technician to assist our Fleet Manager in a variety of different tasks in our shop and on sites across the south shore and metro Boston area. We maintain a large fleet of a wide variety of equipment from pick-up trucks, to tractor trailers and from skid steers and mini excavators to large excavators, loaders, dozers, haul trucks as well as crushers and screeners. You will be a part of everything from preventative maintenance to major overhauls on our fleet.
Job duties include but are not limited to;
• Diagnostics and repairs to on and off highway fleet.
• Maintaining D.O.T. compliance on our medium to heavy on-highway trucks.
• Ability to assist fleet manager in all phases of diagnostics utilizing CAT E.T. as well as other diagnostic software
• Perform major repairs and overhauls with proficiency and attention to detail.
• Must be able to work as a member of a TEAM, work with and on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Assist in the maintenance and organization of our shop and parts room.
• Be a motivated dependable self starter with little to no supervision required.
This is great opportunity for an experienced tech to further grow their skills. Must be punctual, self-motivated and driven to learn and grow. We expect the successful candidate to become a valued member of our core staff and eventually grow to be a lead tech. Must have a valid driver’s license, CDL and Ma.
