Ensure that all HVAC units within the resort hotels are maintained in a high standard of function and readiness to maintain a high level or guest satisfaction. These functions may include but are not limited to sourcing of parts and material, preforming preventative maintenance, repair/replacement, and filter changes. This person will lend their skills and knowledge to the effective training of any apprentices within the department when necessary, in alignment with any and all provincial rules and regulations.
YEAR ROUND - FULL TIME
HOURLY WAGE- $32.00

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
Repair and troubleshoot malfunctioning HVAC systems in a manner that complies with all regulatory and safety requirements.
Inspect (Preventive Maintenance) of systems for potential issues.
Install new/modify HVAC systems in new build or renovation projects.
Advise on appropriate preventative maintenance schedules and standards for HVAC units and equipment on hotels.
Obtain feedback on work planning to improve future planning and improve models.
Manage all maintenance-related documentation, such as archiving and scanning relevant documents, creating, or modifying checklists, etc.;
Act as Journeyman to oversee registered apprentice by providing technical training and oversight, ensuring that apprentice performs all tasks to the appropriate regulatory and safety standards.
General Hotel Maintenance duties as required.
WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME?
Must hold a valid 313D or higher HVAC License
Must hold a valid G2 or G1 Gas Licence and Refrigeration Licence
Ozone Depletion Prevention Certificate
Must have 3+ years of previous experience working with gas and refrigeration appliances.
Works well under pressure and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
Friendly, helpful attitude
Excellent time management skills
Excellent grammar, proofreading and composition skills
