The Administrative
Support III position is crucial for maintaining patient records at Wainwright Health Centre. You will be responsible for interviewing patients and gathering essential financial and demographic details while applying Positive Patient Identification practices. This role also includes verifying healthcare coverage and ensuring compliance with privacy legislation. Key Responsibilities:
• Obtain and record accurate patient information
• Apply Positive Patient Identification during registration
• Verify patient eligibility for healthcare coverage
• Prepare identification materials for patients
• Ensure compliance with privacy and security policies Requirements:
• Grade 12 completion or equivalent
• Medical Terminology certificate and accurate typing of 40 wpm
• Strong computer and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
• Minimum one-year related experience preferred Contribute to patient care and ensure data integrity at AHS as a vital support team member.
