Role Summary
The HCM Technology Advisor is a key member of the SAP SuccessFactors Solution Advisory team. This customerfacing role supports the presales and early adoption lifecycle of SAP SuccessFactors, focusing on ensuring secure, scalable, and technically sound deployment architectures for HCM cloud solutions.
Responsibilities
Act as a technology and security subject matter expert for SAP SuccessFactors during presales, solutioning, and early implementation phases.
Conduct customerfacing workshops to assess existing HCM technology landscapes and define secure, scalable futurestate architectures for SAP SuccessFactors deployment.
Provide guidance on integrating SAP SuccessFactors with existing HR, payroll, identity management, and security platforms.
Advise customers on nonfunctional aspects such as data privacy, cloud security, access governance, identity management, and compliance (e.g., GDPR).
Collaborate with sales, customer success, and implementation teams to align customer needs with product capabilities and roadmap.
Coordinate with SAP global security, compliance, and platform teams to ensure regional and industryspecific security requirements are addressed.
Support the sales cycle by contributing to solution design, RFx responses, and pricing activities in partnership with solution and commercial teams.
Represent SAPs point of view on cybersecurity, cloud governance, and risk mitigation as it relates to the SuccessFactors platform.
Ability to provide functional overview of the SAP SF HCM products is an additional plus.
Education and Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field.
High proficiency in presenting to business and technical audiences, including HR IT, CISOs, and cloud architects.
Reasonable understanding of SAP SuccessFactors modules, including architecture, extensibility, and integration options.
Knowledge of HR domain processes across HiretoRetire is a plus.
Strong grasp of cloud infrastructure, networking, data protection, and identity and access management (IAM).
Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements relevant to HCM systems (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001).
Experience with or knowledge of one or more hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable.
Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM), cloud architecture, or SAP technologies are an advantage.
Fluency in English is required.
Work Experience
10+ years of experience in SAP consulting, presales, or solution architecture roles, preferably in HCM or cloud security domains.
Strong exposure to customerfacing engagements involving SAP SuccessFactors or other HCM cloud platforms.
Handson experience with cloud platform services and their security models.
Experience supporting largescale digital transformation projects in HR/People Technology.
Prior exposure to SAP BTP, Integration Suite, or Identity Authentication Services (IAS) is a plus.
