We are seeking a Permanent Guest Teacher at North High School. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, the ability to engage with high school students, and be flexible. This is a full time position with benefits, including TRS eligibility, paid holidays, sick leave, personal leave.
Start Date: 08/12/2026
Full Time (36 week calendar)
Responsibilities:
Follow lesson plans left by the regular teacher
Manage the classroom and ensure students are on task
Provide instruction and support to students as needed
Maintain a positive and safe learning environment
Communicate with school administrators as necessary
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Valid teaching certificate or substitute teaching license
Able to be flexible with scheduling
Strong classroom management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and learning environments
Rate - $200.00/day
