Job Description for Government Sales, Tender, GEM Portal, and Kendriya Bhandar:

Position: Government Sales

Job Summary: As a Government Sales Executive, you will be responsible for managing sales activities related to government clients, tenders, and the Government e-Marketplace (GEM) portal. You will also work closely with Kendriya Bhandar, a central government employees' cooperative society, to promote and sell products and services to government institutions. This role requires a strong understanding of the government procurement process, tendering procedures, and the GEM portal.

Key Responsibilities

Government Sales:
• Identify, approach, and build strong relationships with government departments, agencies, and institutions.
• Understand the unique needs and requirements of government clients and tailor sales pitches accordingly.
• Promote products and services to government clients and ensure regular follow-ups to achieve sales targets.

Tender Management
• Monitor and track government tenders and procurement opportunities relevant to the company's products and services.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive and competitive tender proposals within specified deadlines.
• Collaborate with the internal team to gather necessary information and documentation required for tender submissions.

Government E-Marketplace (GEM) Portal
• Register and maintain the company's profile on the GEM portal to participate in online tenders.
• Monitor GEM portal notifications and participate in relevant e-tendering processes.
• Ensure compliance with GEM portal guidelines and regulations during the tendering process.

Kendriya Bhandar Collaboration
• Coordinate with Kendriya Bhandar representatives to understand their requirements and product preferences.
• Work towards getting the company's products and services listed and promoted in Kendriya Bhandar stores.
• Regularly update Kendriya Bhandar about new products, offers, and promotions.

Sales Strategy And Reporting
• Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue from government clients.
• Keep abreast of the latest market trends, competitor activities, and government policies that may impact sales.
• Generate regular reports on sales performance, pipeline, and opportunities.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in government sales, tender management, and dealing with government clients.
• Familiarity with the Government e-Marketplace (GEM) portal and its processes.
• Strong understanding of the government procurement process.
