Software Development Engineer - II/III (Backend) Responsibilities ● Lead the development of the backend systems. ● Build distributed, secure and performant backend systems. ● Mentor and provide feedback to teammates. ● Design (LLD & HLD) and architect technical solutions to complex problems. What we’re looking for ● 3-5 + years of software development experience. ● 1-2 years experience in building scalable, high-performance backend systems. ● Experience in system design, distributed systems, relational and No-SQL databases. ● Strong understanding of programming paradigms and test-driven development. ● Experience in implementing Event-Driven Architecture and microservices architecture at scale Skills we’re looking for ● Proficiency in Golang (preferred) and/or Python ● Solid understanding of NoSQL databases like MongoDB ( MySQL is a plus) ● Solid understanding of Apache Kafka and Docker ● Familiarity with AWS and commonly used services Good to have ● Knowledge of Elasticsearch/Solr ● Experience in building live streaming applications Expertise •
