About the Role

The Global Sales & Marketing Director will be responsible for building and leading the sales and marketing function for spare parts and engines.

This role is not only about managing sales. The person will be expected to build a sales team, create a working sales structure, manage RFQ and quotation processes, develop customer relationships, follow up opportunities, support branding and marketing activities, and drive measurable sales growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a commercially strong, disciplined, and experienced professional who can both sell and build a team that sells.

Responsibilities
• Build, lead, and manage the sales team for spare parts and engines.
• Create a clear sales structure, including customer follow-up, RFQ handling, quotation process, pipeline tracking, reporting, and performance management.
• Develop new customers and manage existing customer relationships.
• Lead key account management and long-term customer development.
• Manage RFQs, technical inquiries, quotations, pricing coordination, order follow-up, delivery status, documents, payment terms, and customer communication.
• Work closely with procurement to understand availability, supplier offers, pricing, lead times, alternatives, and technical details.
• Support sales for spare parts, diesel engines, engine components, heavy equipment parts, construction machinery parts, mining machinery parts, marine engines, generator engines, filters, hydraulic components, electrical parts, and related products.
• Lead commercial negotiations with customers on price, lead time, delivery terms, warranty, payment terms, and long-term cooperation.
• Build relationships with customers, dealers, distributors, contractors, fleet owners, service companies, workshops, procurement teams, and equipment owners.
• Improve quotation quality, response time, RFQ follow-up discipline, and sales conversion.
• Monitor customer activity, open offers, lost offers, competitor pricing, market demand, and sales performance.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, pipeline updates, customer development reports, and team performance reports.
• Support marketing activities, branding, product positioning, online lead generation, B2B marketplaces, RFQ platforms, and product listing channels.
• Represent the company in customer meetings, calls, negotiations, exhibitions, and business visits.
• Set sales targets, follow team performance, and build a disciplined sales culture.

Requirements
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Have minimum 8+ years of experience in B2B sales, technical sales, spare parts sales, engine sales, heavy equipment sales, key account management, business development, or sales management.
• Have experience in building, leading, or managing a sales team.
• Have strong background in spare parts, engines, diesel engines, engine components, heavy equipment, construction machinery, mining equipment, marine engines, generator engines, or aftermarket sales.
• Understand RFQ-based sales, technical inquiries, quotations, pricing, supplier coordination, customer follow-up, and order execution.
• Be able to understand part numbers, engine models, customer requirements, technical alternatives, availability, lead times, and commercial conditions.
• Have good knowledge of Incoterms, logistics, customs documents, payment terms, warranty terms, and delivery processes.
• Have experience with CRM, ERP, Excel, sales reports, pipeline tracking, customer records, and documentation control.
• Understand B2B marketing, branding, digital sales channels, online lead generation, and marketplace sales.
• Communicate professionally in English.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, negotiation, communication, follow-up, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Be target-oriented, disciplined, commercial-minded, and able to manage the sales process end-to-end.
• Be comfortable working remotely with an international team and high-volume RFQ environment.

Nice to Have
• Have an existing customer portfolio in spare parts, engines, heavy equipment, construction machinery, mining, marine, power generation, oil & gas, or aftermarket sectors.
• Have a customer network in India, Europe, CIS, Middle East, Africa, or other markets.
• Have experience with B2B marketplaces, RFQ platforms, online lead generation, CRM-based sales, and product listing platforms.
• Have experience in engine rebuild programs, filters, hydraulic parts, undercarriage parts, electrical parts, automation products, or technical procurement markets.
• Have experience with distribution agreements, framework agreements, authorized partnerships, exclusivity terms, or long-term supply agreements.
• Have experience creating sales playbooks, KPI systems, reporting discipline, and customer follow-up processes.
• Have Turkish, German, French and Arabic language ability as a strong plus.
