Looking for Ecommerce Procurement/International Sourcing
Experience: 2 + years of experience in global sourcing, preferably in an ecommerce.
Location : Karapakkam, OMR Chennai.
We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager to join our e-commerce company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding our global sourcing efforts to drive cost savings, improve product quality, and increase efficiency in our supply chain.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Identify and evaluate potential international suppliers and partners to meet the needs of our business
· Negotiate and manage contracts with global suppliers and partners
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers and partners
· Monitor and report on supplier performance, including delivery and quality of goods
· Work closely with our procurement and logistics teams to ensure smooth and efficient communication and coordination with international suppliers and partners
· Manage and lead a team of international sourcing specialists, including setting goals and objectives, providing guidance and support, and conducting performance evaluations
· Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our international sourcing efforts
· Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in international sourcing
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, international business, or a related field
· 2+ years of experience in global sourcing, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment
· Strong negotiation and communication skills
· Fluent in English and at least one other language
· Experience managing and leading a team
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
Schedule:
• Day shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
• Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
• Procurement: 2 years (Preferred)
