Absinthe Bistro is seeking a passionate and responsible cook to join our team. We are very excited to welcome someone long-term who can grow and learn with us.
Located in the heart of Vancouver’s Commercial Drive, Absinthe Bistro offers French flare. We are a family-owned and operated restaurant.
If you are looking for opportunities to grow and develop your skills, in a fast-paced and busy restaurant, Absinthe Bistro is the perfect place for you!
We are looking for someone full-time from Wednesday to Sunday from 1:30 PM to close (9:30-11:00).
Our ideal team member should have at least 1 year of kitchen experience or a combination of culinary education and experience. Accreditation from a culinary school would be an asset. We can train if the right person does not have cooking school or much work experience.
Basic knife skills are required.
Your duties will include:
- Preparation (Mise en place) and service
- Help clean the kitchen every day.
As it is a small kitchen dishwashing is done in collaboration.
We offer $19 - $21 (depending on experience) dollars per hour and participation in the tip pool.
Staff meals are offered every workday. We take care of supplying and cleaning your uniforms.
