Weekday Lunch & Dinner Shifts Available

About Us
Tomo Tomo is a fresh and fun Japanese eatery serving up sushi rolls, udon rice bowls, and soba salads in the heart of Canberra. We’re all about great food, fast service, and good vibes — and we’re looking for new team members to join the fun!
The Roles
We are currently hiring for:
Front of House Staff
Kitchen Hand
Both roles are available for weekday lunch and/or dinner shifts.
Key Responsibilities (Front of House)
Greet and serve customers with a warm, welcoming attitude
Take orders and confidently answer menu questions
Serve customers at the counter
Maintain a clean and inviting customer area
Work with the team to ensure smooth daily operations
Key Responsibilities (Kitchen Hand)
Assist with basic food preparation (including cutting ingredients and simple prep tasks)
Operate kitchen equipment such as fryers safely and efficiently
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
Support chefs during busy service periods
Wash dishes and keep work areas organised
What We’re Looking For
Clear and confident communication skills
Strong work ethic and reliability
Positive attitude and team-player mindset
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience is preferred
