A brand-new 10-court indoor pickleball facility opens mid-September in Dieppe. Come build it with us.
You are the first person members meet at Rally House. You will check people in, run the pro shop, keep the courts ready, and keep the facility clean. Shifts run mornings and evenings, you will often be on the desk on your own, and the pace swings from steady to flat out on busy nights/weekends.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Check members in, manage court bookings and guest passes, and answer questions about memberships and programming
Run the pro shop: sales, paddle demos, displays, and receiving stock. Operate the POS, take payments, and balance your till
Set up and tear down courts for leagues, lessons, clinics, and private bookings, and support league nights and tournaments
Open or close the building and keep it clean, safe, and ready for play
Lend a hand to the food and beverage team when it gets busy. No food prep, no food service, no ******* service
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must be 17 years of age or older
Friendly, dependable, and comfortable working the desk on your own
Bilingual (English / French) is a strong asset
Customer service or retail experience helps; we will train the right person
Standard First Aid & CPR/AED is an asset, but not required
Available mornings, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays
Comfortable with conflict resolution: explaining policies, redirecting walk-ins, settling disagreements calmly
Pickleball knowledge is a bonus, not a must
Comfortable standing for most of a shift, lifting up to 40 lbs, and moving equipment carts, with or without accommodation
WHAT WE OFFER
$16.50 per hour
Full-time, part-time, and casual positions. For part-time and casual roles we work around your availability where it fits the schedule, and we are hiring for all times of day
Paid training starting 2 to 3 weeks before we open
Staff perks: food and beverage discounts, pro shop discount, and facility access scaled by position. Uniforms partly provided; indoor non-marking shoes supplied by you
Shifts end shortly after the facility closes. No late-night hours, free on-site parking
