Job Description
Future Game Project is a new football player development programme launching in 2026, dedicated to helping young players maximise their potential through high-quality coaching.

We’re looking for passionate, motivated coaches to join our growing team as we launch across Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch.
Lead Coach
Minimum Requirements
UEFA C Licence (Essential)
UEFA B Licence (Desirable)
Valid FA DBS Check
FA Safeguarding Children Certificate
FA Introduction to First Aid in Football (or equivalent)
Experience leading football coaching sessions independently (Essential)
Key Responsibilities
Lead weekly coaching sessions following the Future Game Project curriculum.
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality training sessions.
Submit session plans to the Head of Coaching prior to each session for review.
Deliver sessions aligned with the weekly coaching topic provided by the Head of Coaching.
Create a positive, challenging and inclusive learning environment.
Provide individual coaching interventions and feedback to players.
Maintain high standards of professionalism and safeguarding at all times.
Communicate effectively with parents where appropriate.
Work closely with assistant coaches to ensure sessions run efficiently.

Minimum Requirements
FA Level 1 / Introduction to Coaching Football (Essential)
UEFA C Licence (Desirable)
Valid FA DBS Check
FA Safeguarding Children Certificate
FA Introduction to First Aid in Football (or equivalent)
Key Responsibilities
Support the Lead Coach in delivering high-quality coaching sessions.
Assist with demonstrations, organisation and player management.
Help create a positive learning environment.
Provide encouragement and individual support to players.
Contribute ideas during session delivery.
Uphold Future Game Project’s coaching philosophy and standards.

Session Planning
All coaches will be responsible for planning their own sessions.
The Head of Coaching will provide the weekly coaching topic in line with the Future Game Project curriculum. Coaches are expected to design their own session around that topic and submit their session plan before delivery.
