Food Service Worker

The Brandywine Heights Area School District is seeking a dependable, positive, and customer-focused Food Service Worker to join our team. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming dining experience for students while supporting the efficient operation of the school kitchen and cafeteria.
The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with the highest standards of nutrition, food quality, presentation, and safety, while ensuring compliance with Pennsylvania Department of Education Food and Nutrition Services requirements and USDA guidelines..

Schedule: Part Time 10-month position
Hours: 3.5 hours per day 10:00 am – 1:30 pm
Location: Brandywine Heights Intermediate/Middle School Kitchen and Cafeteria
Hourly Rate: $13.15/hour
Start Date: Training begins August 13, 2026 following School Board approval and successful completion of pre-employment requirements.
