We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of food service operations. This role offers an opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are preferred but not required. Candidates should possess solid time management skills, a commitment to food safety and sanitation standards, and the ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Micros POS
Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed to support smooth operations
Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest satisfaction
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
Follow all sanitation, safety, and food handling procedures diligently
Requirements
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in the hospitality industry
Basic kitchen experience or food industry knowledge is advantageous but not required
