Food Beverage Manager / AFB Manager

The position of Department Head at Fairfield by Marriott Jaipur involves overseeing the food and beverage/culinary operations to ensure guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining high standards and meeting financial goals.

To qualify for this role, you should have at least a high school diploma or GED along with 3 years of experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area. Alternatively, a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major, along with 1 year of relevant experience, is also acceptable.

Your core responsibilities will include creating a property environment that fosters motivation, teamwork, and a passion for service, providing excellent customer service to both employees and guests, and addressing concerns promptly and proactively. You should demonstrate coaching skills, self-confidence, and enthusiasm, motivating staff to resolve guest and employee-related issues effectively.

Ensuring exceptional customer service is crucial in this role, where you will set service expectations for all guests, take ownership of and address guest complaints until resolved satisfactorily, and build relationships with guests to encourage repeat business.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will need to comply with corporate accounting procedures and assist the General Manager with annual Quality audits when required.
