Citywide are recruiting for an experienced and detail-oriented Fleet Analyst to administer, maintain and support asset systems through the provision of data analysis, reporting and insights for our fleet of vehicles and equipment.

About the role

Reporting to the Group Asset Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and analysing fleet data, including vehicle maintenance data, utilisation data, plant and equipment master data. You will also be preparing and publishing reports and applying governance processes over data and systems to ensure integrity of information.


Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Analysis of fleet maintenance system data to ensure all assets are recorded, master data is accurate and up to date and reconciled to fixed asset register.
Analysis and reporting of fleet and equipment, such as fleet and age profiles and data governance.
Analysis and reporting on fleet utilisation, fuel cards and e-tags.
Preparation and publication of relevant, reliable and accurate information on fleet activities.
Preparation and reporting on vehicle maintenance schedules.
Provide support actioning the addition/transfer/decommissioning of assets and establishing of asset maintenance profiles.
Provide support for the administration of the telematics system.
Preparation of information to support capital expenditure reporting.
Assist with the development of capital budgets and Assets Group budget.

Skills and Attributes required to be successful in this role:

Previous experience within the transport industry with working knowledge of assets and equipment.
Knowledge and experience in the use of asset related systems including Fixed Assets registers and maintenance systems.
High level capability with Excel spreadsheets, including analysing data and reporting.
Experience with the use of fleet management systems and governance asset data.
Knowledge of vehicle registration processes.
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to apply sound, creative problem solving techniques to investigate data and provide informed reports.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
