What does the job look like?

Based at our Willawong Service Centre and operating Monday to Friday, this role is a vital contributor to the Queensland Service Centre team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. The position provides essential administrative support, with a focus on coordinating vehicle inspections to meet compliance requirements. This involves working closely with the Department of Transport and Main Roads and our operations team to facilitate repairs and ensure all vehicles meet regulatory standards. The role is key in maintaining our high standards of professionalism and service excellence. Key areas:

Coordinate vehicle compliance inspections, ensuring all necessary checks and repairs are completed in a timely manner to meet regulatory requirements.
Liaise with the Department of Transport and Main Roads and internal teams to schedule and facilitate inspections, ensuring all documentation is accurately recorded.
Perform general administrative tasks, including record-keeping, email correspondence, and maintaining accurate databases.
Provide outstanding customer service, fostering positive relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Support the operations team with administrative tasks related to vehicle compliance and maintenance.
Assist with additional duties as needed to support day-to-day business operations.

We’re seeking someone with strong administrative experience who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

Administrative expertise, preferably with experience in compliance processes or liaising with regulatory bodies.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, reporting, and documentation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of clear and effective interactions with various stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other computer systems (experience with SAP is highly regarded).
Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
Knowledge or experience in the transport industry is a strong advantage.
