Job Description
Position: Commis Chef
Department: Kitchen / Food Production
Reports To: Senior Commi
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the Chef and kitchen team in daily food preparation and production.
• Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, meat, sauces, dressings and other food items as instructed.
• Follow standard recipes, portion sizes and presentation guidelines.
• Ensure food is prepared hygienically and maintained at the required quality standards.
• Assist in cooking and plating food as per the menu and instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, workstations and equipment.
• Follow proper food storage, labelling and FIFO practices.
• Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use.
• Minimise food wastage and use ingredients responsibly.
• Ensure all kitchen tools and equipment are cleaned and stored properly.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with receiving, storing and organising kitchen supplies when required.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Carry out any other kitchen-related duties assigned by the Chef or Supervisor.Skills & Requirements
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
