Role Description The Cooking Instructor will design and deliver cooking classes and workshops for participants of varying skill levels, ensuring clear instructions and a positive learning experience. This full-time, on-site role in Mumbai involves planning menus, preparing ingredients and equipment before classes, and demonstrating techniques while guiding participants through each recipe step. The instructor will teach principles of food safety, basic nutrition, and efficient kitchen practices, while adapting lessons to different age groups and dietary needs. Daily responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized teaching kitchen, monitoring class attendance and feedback, and collaborating with the team to refine course content and introduce new recipes or themes.
Qualifications
• Strong practical skills in Cooking, Food Preparation, and Culinary Skills.
• Ability to provide clear, accessible Nutrition Education and basic guidance on Nutrition.Experience teaching or training others in a classroom, workshop, or hands-on environment.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and kitchen organization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse learners.
• Certificate or diploma in culinary arts, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work full time on-site in Mumbai, including evenings or weekends as class schedules require.
