We're Hiring: Fintech Engineer – Payments (Remote)

We're looking for a talented Fintech Engineer to own and scale our payments ecosystem. This is an opportunity to work on mission-critical payment systems, solve complex money movement challenges, and have a direct impact on a growing business.
What You'll Build

✅ Stripe Connect integrations (Express onboarding, payouts, holds, escrow, webhooks)

✅ Plaid-powered bank account linking and ACH verification

✅ KYC and identity verification workflows

✅ Payment state machines with complete audit logging

✅ Idempotent, fault-tolerant payment APIs

✅ Secure, scalable financial infrastructure
What We're Looking For

🔹 3+ years of experience building production payment systems

🔹 Deep expertise with Stripe Connect (beyond basic Checkout)

🔹 Strong Node.js and PostgreSQL experience

🔹 Experience with transactions, database locking, and audit trails

🔹 Strong understanding of webhooks, idempotency, and retry logic

🔹 Knowledge of PCI DSS compliance and secure data handling
Bonus Points

⭐ Plaid integration experience

⭐ Marketplace or escrow payment architecture

⭐ Startup or early-stage company experience
