We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our growing team in Oldbury. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of general ledger management, financial management in a rapidly growing company and regulatory compliance. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a proactive approach.

· General Ledger Management: Maintaining an accurate and comprehensive general ledger, which forms the foundation of the company’s financial records.

· Financial Statement Preparation: completion of the timely and accurate preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting.

· Compliance: Ensuring adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements and accounting standards.

· Cash Flow Forecasting: Project future cash inflows and outflows to anticipate potential cash shortages or surpluses.

· Working Capital Management: Optimise management of working capital, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory.

· Compliance with regulations: Ensuring the company is complying with all relevant financial regulations.

· Completion and Submission of statutory returns: Including but not limited to VAT and CIS.

· Budgeting and Forecasting: You will develop budgets and forecasts, identify potential financial opportunities and risks.

· Cost Optimization: Identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

· Pricing Strategy: Providing financial input into pricing decisions.

· Payroll Management: Support the payroll process, ensuring accurate calculations and timely submissions.

· Processes and Procedures: Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices, to ensure full financial control across the Company.

· Stakeholder Management: Liaise with external stakeholders, such as suppliers, customers and HMRC as required.

· Part or fully qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or QBE (Qualified by Experience).

· Strong proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero.

· Experience of VAT regulations, CIS, payroll procedures, and financial compliance.

· Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines under minimal supervision.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining financial accuracy.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and team members.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
