Farm Food Production Assistant
Job Description
Not a desk job. Not a casual kitchen job.
This is hands-on work making real food—ferments, meals, and products people actually eat.
We’re looking for someone reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented to support our food production and retail operations. You’ll be part of a small, focused team producing sauerkraut, kombucha, bone broth, meat pies, heat-and-serve meals, and pizza, along with preparing products for market and retail.
No experience needed—we’ll train you.
But effort, attitude, and follow-through matter.
What You’ll Be Doing
Preparing real food products (ferments, broths, prepared meals)
Packaging, labeling, and organizing products for sale
Preparing orders for Farmers Markets, Crooked Creek Store, and our new retail location
Tracking, organizing, and restocking inventory
Maintaining a clean, efficient, food-safe workspace
Supporting daily production—doing what needs to be done
You’ll Fit This Role If You:
Show up on time and ready to work
Work steadily without needing constant direction
Take pride in doing things right—even when repetitive
Are comfortable with physical, hands-on work
Care about real food and quality production
Work well with a diverse team of people
This Job Is NOT:
A desk job or slow-paced environment
Flexible “whenever you feel like it” work
Creative freelancing—there are systems and standards
Easy—this is physical, fast-paced production work
A fit for someone who struggles with reliability or consistency
Trial Shift (Required)
We use a paid trial shift (4–6 hours) as part of our hiring process.
You’ll be doing real work—cleaning, prep, packaging, and working with the team.
If you’re not open to a trial shift, this role won’t be the right fit.
