Job Description
Job Designation: Factory Manager (Modular Furniture)
Key Responsibilities:
Production Management: Plan, organize, and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery deadlines. Monitor daily production activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production targets.
Quality Control: Establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the production of high-quality furniture. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify and resolve any production issues. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to implement improvements in quality standards.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise factory staff, including production supervisors and workers. Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations. Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, safety, and employee development.
Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to ensure an adequate supply of raw materials and components. Implement inventory control measures to reduce waste and maintain cost efficiency.
Health and Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Conduct safety training programs and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
Budget and Cost Control: Develop and manage the factory budget, controlling costs while ensuring operational efficiency. Monitor expenses related to labor, materials, and equipment maintenance.
Job Specification:
Minimum 10 years of experience in modular furniture manufacturing industry. At least 6 years of Managerial experience
Strong understanding of furniture production processes, materials, and quality standards.
Diploma/bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. A master’s degree is a plus.
Leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in production planning and inventory management.
Budgeting and cost control skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in manufacturing.
