Facilities Manager
Job Description Summary

We are seeking a Facilities Manager for our Sydney CBD area which involves comprehensive oversight of multi-site operations, including iconic commercial and heritage buildings, with emphasis on ensuring seamless property services and minimal disruption to client operations.
Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

Managing day-to-day planned (PM) and reactive maintenance (RM) to ensure business continuity.

Overseeing budgets, including quote comparison, cost control, and negotiation.

Ensuring site compliance with safety, sustainability, and legislative requirements.

Conducting property condition audits and identifying improvements.

Implementing cost-saving initiatives and best practices.

Conducting risk assessments and proactively managing hazards.

Building strong relationships with stakeholders including clients, landlords, and suppliers, with a focus on customer experience.

Candidate requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience managing multiple sites with both Soft Services (cleaning, security, etc.) and Hard Services (mechanical, electrical maintenance).

Strong knowledge of commercial property lifecycle and maintenance regimes.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.

Client-focused mindset with high attention to detail.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
