Full job description
As an Experience Product Manager (Partner Design System), you will drive RAC’s partnering capability in the Digital Experience space. In this dual role, you will supercharge progress on our ‘plug and play’ design system, a key enabler of delivering efficient and consistent digital experiences via partners. Ongoing, you will be responsible for maximising the value and return on investment of third-party digital products by providing strategic oversight and performance management to ensure delivery against member, business, and strategic outcomes.

This role is being offered as a 24-month max-term contract.

What you’ll be doing
Managing the design system roadmap, ensuring alignment to brand standards, accessibility, and emerging best practices.
Driving adoption and enhancement, promoting system value to internal teams and partners, and collecting feedback to guide improvements.
Measuring impact and utilisation, demonstrating how the design system supports delivery efficiency and consistent member experience.
Defining the strategic position for each third-party digital product within RAC’s broader digital ecosystem, ensuring alignment to business goals and member value.
Assessing and recommending actions for underperforming, misaligned, or redundant products, including enhancement, replacement, or retirement.
Identifying and advocating for new solutions that address capability gaps, accelerate strategy, or improve member experience.
Tracking contribution to business outcomes, monitoring partner product impact on benefits realization, and communicating value delivery.
Acting as the primary contact for internal stakeholders on partner products, supporting business engagement, and promoting strategic alignment.
Managing RAC’s input into partner roadmaps, prioritising features based on data, member feedback, and performance insights.
Embedding measurement and reporting, driving continuous improvement and informed decision-making through strong KPIs and benchmarks.
Evolving product priorities in response to delivery learnings, shifting business needs, and customer feedback.
Coordinating cross-functional delivery, acting as the single point between RAC teams and partners to manage product lifecycles, risks, and dependencies.
Ensuring governance and compliance, overseeing pre-launch checks, upholding RAC’s digital, cyber, privacy, and accessibility standards, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Upholding performance, risk, and data quality, by leading structured reviews, ensuring secure and compliant practices, and driving optimisations through insights and collaboration.

What you’ll bring
Extensive experience in collaborative, team-based project delivery environments.
Demonstrated capability as a Product Owner or Manager, with a background in Agile delivery or business analysis.
Delivery of successful B2C digital products, focused on customer engagement, conversion, and self-service outcomes.
Excellence in stakeholder engagement, with strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Ability to manage third-party vendors and services, with experience in governance and partner-led digital transformation initiatives.
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant business or IT discipline.
What can we offer you?
A workplace culture where our people feel valued, respected and empowered.
Work in flexible ways that meet work/life commitments and support wellbeing.
Be part of a purpose led organisation that gives back to the WA community.
An environment that values ongoing career development.
Free Roadside Assistance and discounts on RAC products and services including Holiday Parks and Resorts, Security, Finance, Auto Services and Insurance.
Opportunities for community engagement and corporate volunteering.
