About the Role
We are seeking experienced Chefs and Cooks to join our team at The Korumburra Hotel Unit Trust. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Working closely with the Head Chef to manage kitchen operations and ensure seamless food production
- Assisting with the supervision of kitchen staff and maintaining high standards of food quality
- Contributing to menu design, costing, and budgeting processes
- Preparing and cooking food to benchmark standards for the restaurant
- Presenting and serving meals to the highest possible standards
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 1-2 years' relevant commercial cookery experience (Cook)
- Minimum 2 years' demonstrable kitchen supervisor/chef experience (Chef)
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or above is desirable for Chef
- English Language Ability: suitable test where required for sponsorship
