We are currently looking for a Kitchen Assistant to work with our integral team in Tadworth.

• Hourly rate of £11.50 per hour
• Shuttle bus service
• Full time – 35 hours per week – Monday – Friday
• 7am – 3.00pm

What You’ll Be Doing
• You’ll be training under a Head Chef in order to gain your culinary qualification
• You will be performing the day to day tasks of a Chef and learning on the job
• Work well as part of a team, supporting one another and communicating well
• Learning how to follow recipe cards to prepare, cook and serve a range of meals
• Completing daily paperwork to cover due diligence
• Assisting with deliveries and stock checks
• Placing food orders and maintaining kitchen records
• To share responsibility with the Chef manager/Catering manager for the checking, probing and signing of all food deliveries
• To monitor and record temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets and serveries.
• Assisting in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans
• Full knowledge of all menu items served
• Undertake relevant training as required

Experience/Qualifications
• No experience, just a willingness to learn and a passion for cooking!
• Excellent team player and communicator
• Committed to the apprenticeship
• DBS required
