Position Overview

As an events specialist you'll provide leadership as you effectively plan, coordinate, execute, and evaluate corporate events to support marketing strategy, programs, and the FortisBC brand. Reporting to the events manager, this position focuses on collaborating with key stakeholder and cross functional teams to develop event requirements including communication plans, budgets, and activities based on business needs.

In this role, you will:
Take the lead on planning, coordinating, and executing corporate events, including collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders, managing budgets, and aligning with our corporate branding. Additionally, you’ll participate in source funding activities and ensuring cost efficiency for events.
