As the Events and Marketing Specialist - Contractor (1 Month), you will be responsible for supporting events in the education center and supporting the marketing team in their day to day tasks.
This person must be customer-centric, with proven ability to execute and work independently.

Key Responsibilities

Support and execute the process for set-up and tear-down for center events including staging, technology, room configuration, catering, etc.
Plan for events in the education center
On-site management of all logistics for duration of assigned events
Support marketing team with invoices, translation, asset development and other tasks as needed
Other Event projects and marketing tasks as assigned

Skills, Knowledge Expertise

2+ years of work experience. Marketing or event planning experience an asset
High degree of flexibility in working schedule – regular evening weekend work is required as part of responsibilities.
Open, warm and engaging individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Computer knowledge including Microsoft Office software application.
