Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Event Specialist to join our dynamic startup team. As an Event Specialist, you will play a critical role in executing event designs, managing vendor relations, handling client interactions, and ensuring the successful delivery of events. This role requires a balance of creativity, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to bring our clients' visions to life.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design Execution:
- Work closely with the design team to understand event concepts and themes.
- Execute the provided designs during events, ensuring alignment with the planned concept.
- Add creative touches to decorations and other event-related elements to enhance the overall experience.
2. Vendor Management:
- Pitch and negotiate venues across Chennai to establish regular vendor options.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure smooth operations.
3. Procurement:
- Purchase necessary products and materials related to gifting and events.
- Ensure timely procurement of quality items within budget.
4. Client Interaction:
- Meet with clients to discuss event requirements and expectations.
- Turn client ideas into reality by effectively managing and executing events.
- Attend to client calls and provide support as needed to ensure client satisfaction.
5. Event Execution:
- Oversee the setup and execution of events, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Address any issues or changes on the spot to maintain event quality.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure all aspects of the event are covered.
6. Creativity and Innovation:
- Bring innovative ideas and creative solutions to the table, especially in decoration and event design.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in event management and apply them to your work.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of ITI, Diploma, or Degree
Experience:
- At least 6 months of experience in event management is preferred.
- Freshers with a creative mindset and looking for additional source of income are welcome to apply.
- Previous experience with event design, vendor management, or client relations is a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
