Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven professional to lead Sponsorship Sales & Delegate Acquisition for Tefla’s flagship industry events. The role demands a proactive and strategic approach to securing high-value sponsorships, exhibition space sales, and driving delegate participation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B/corporate event sales, a proven track record in revenue generation, and exceptional client relationship management skills.
Experience, Qualifications & Skills Required:
Education: A graduate degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Experience & Skills:
• Sponsorship Sales & Exhibition Space Selling: Proven success in selling high-value sponsorships and exhibition spaces for large-scale conferences and summits.
.Delegate Acquisition: Strong experience in delegate sales, registration campaigns, and audience development strategies.
• Sales Track Record: Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets with a results-driven approach.
• Negotiation & Closing Skills: Expertise in high-value negotiations, structuring sponsorship deals, and closing revenue-generating agreements.
• Client Relationship Management: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate sponsors, exhibitors, and key industry stakeholders.
• Strategic Sales Planning: Experience in creating and executing data-driven sales strategies to drive event profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Sponsorship & Exhibition Sales:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to secure high-value sponsorships and exhibition space for Tefla’s flagship events.
• Identify and approach key industry players, decision-makers, and potential sponsors to establish long-term business relationships.
• Design and present tailored sponsorship packages that align with sponsor objectives and provide measurable ROI.
• Lead negotiations to secure strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth and brand value.
Delegate Acquisition & Sales:
• Develop strategies to drive delegate registrations and participation at conferences and summits.
• Identify and target key decision-makers and professionals from relevant industries to maximize attendance.
.Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling outreach campaigns and leverage data-driven strategies for delegate acquisition.
• Build partnerships with industry associations, trade bodies, and media houses to enhance event visibility and credibility.
Relationship Management:
• Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with sponsors, exhibitors, and key stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors and delegates, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
• Address sponsor and delegate queries proactively, providing solutions that enhance their event experience.
Sales Strategy & Revenue Generation:
• Achieve and exceed revenue targets for sponsorship sales, exhibition space, and delegate participation.
• Develop innovative sales approaches to maximize event revenue and profitability.
• Work closely with internal teams (marketing, event production, and operations) to ensure seamless execution of sponsorship deliverables and delegate engagement.
Market Insights & Trend Analysis:
• Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.
• Utilize data insights to refine sponsorship offerings, improve delegate acquisition strategies, and enhance event positioning.
• Identify new revenue streams and partnership opportunities to expand Tefla’s event portfolio.
Lead Generation & Pipeline Management:
• Leverage existing relationships and industry networks to generate high-quality leads for sponsorships and delegate acquisition.
• Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent follow-ups and high conversion rates.
.Maintain accurate records of sales activities, prospect interactions, and revenue projections.
Travel & Industry Engagement:
• Attend national and international industry events, trade shows and conferences to expand networks and generate new business opportunities.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations and networking sessions to promote sponsorship and delegate participation.
