Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being part of the planning process—not someone who simply completes a task list.
You should be someone who:
Takes ownership
Enjoys collaborating with a team
Brings solutions, not just problems
Is excited to help create exceptional events
This role is ideal for someone who freelances, runs their own event business or enjoys project-based opportunities while still wanting to be part of a collaborative team.
Working Arrangement
This hybrid contract runs from September 2026 through May 2027.
The role includes regular online collaboration, approximately one in-person planning day per week in Toronto, client meetings, site visits and onsite event production. Workload will increase as major event dates approach.
This is a non-exclusive contract, and you’re welcome to continue working with other clients throughout the contract period.
Compensation
Compensation for this role will be discussed with the successful candidate and will be structured as a flat project fee based on experience, scope and responsibilities. The role is project-based rather than a traditional hourly position.
To Apply
Please submit your résumé along with a brief introduction about yourself and your event experience. We’d also love to see examples of events you’ve planned or produced and your role on those projects.
The successful candidate will be required to enter into a contractor agreement that includes confidentiality and client/project protection provisions.
