Event Planner / Manager (Ahmedabad)

Shangar Decor Limited is looking for a creative, dynamic, and highly organized Event Planner cum Executive Assistant to work closely with the Director and assist in planning and managing weddings, pre-wedding functions, government events, corporate events, exhibitions, conferences, religious events, and large-scale functions . The ideal candidate should have a robust sense of design and aesthetics, excellent client management and communication skills, and the ability to take an event from initial concept through planning and successful execution.Key Responsibilities Plan and coordinate weddings, destination weddings, pre-wedding functions, social events, corporate events, exhibitions, and government events Meet and interact with clients to understand their vision, preferences, budget, and event requirements Manage client relationships from the initial inquiry through planning and final event execution Develop creative concepts, themes, colour palettes, and décor ideas for weddings and events Create professional mood boards, concept boards, décor presentations, and client proposals Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and incorporate their feedback into the final concept Coordinate wedding functions including Mehendi, Sangeet, Haldi, Wedding, Reception, and other pre-wedding celebrations Conduct venue visits and assist with venue layouts, guest flow, décor planning, and event logistics Coordinate with designers, decorators, production teams, vendors, artists, caterers, photographers, and other agencies Prepare event timelines, production schedules, checklists, budgets, and execution plans Follow up with clients and vendors to ensure timely decisions and deliverables Supervise on-site event setup and execution to ensure that the final outcome matches the approved concept and presentation Assist the Director with meetings, appointments, schedules, client communication, and important follow-ups Prepare professional emails, proposals, presentations, and business correspondence Maintain Minutes of Meetings (MOM) and ensure timely follow-up on all assigned tasks Coordinate with government officials, corporate clients, and other key stakeholders when required Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client and business information Candidate Requirements Prior experience in wedding planning, event management, décor planning, or event production is strongly preferred Strong creative and aesthetic sense with an understanding of current wedding and event décor trends Experience in creating mood boards, concept presentations, and event proposals Excellent client servicing and relationship management skills Proficiency in PowerPoint, Canva, MS Word, and Excel Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati Excellent coordination, multitasking, and follow-up abilities Presentable, confident, and comfortable interacting with premium clients, families, senior executives, and government officials Willing to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during events Ability to independently manage responsibilities and take ownership of projects from planning through execution Preferred Candidate: A creative and highly organized professional who can combine wedding and event planning, client servicing, décor conceptualization, mood board and presentation creation, on-ground execution, and executive assistance while working closely with the Director of Shangar Decor Limited.
