Job Summary
This part-time role at Mount Waverley Secondary College is an opportunity to support the educational services provided to students. The successful candidate will work as a member of a large team, assisting students with a wide range of disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Assist students on an individual or group basis in specific learning areas
Provide basic physical and emotional care for students
Participate in team meetings and assist with communication between students and teachers
Lift and administer medication to students requiring special care
Supervise pupils in playgrounds, at camps, on excursions, in sporting activities, therapy activities and life skills
Prepare student resources and equipment, and maintain work areas in a clean and ready-to-use condition
About the Role
This role is based at Mount Waverley Secondary College, a co-educational setting with a unique Junior Campus for Years 7 and 8 and a Senior Campus for Years + to 12. The college has a diverse student body and offers a wide range of extracurricular programs.
