Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha or Micros POS systems, ensuring all details are captured correctly.
Provide recommendations on menu items and upsell specials to enhance the guest experience.
Serve food and beverages efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tips.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction with their dining experience.
Assist in training new staff members on restaurant procedures and service standards as needed.
Experience
Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha, Micros, or OpenTable is advantageous.
Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on guest relations and customer service.
