Position: Engage as a Well-being Assistant Volunteer
Support student wellness as a Virtual Well-being Assistant Volunteer with York Region Educational Services. Help foster healthy habits and a positive learning space in an online format.
YRES is looking for motivated volunteers, ages 12+ to aid students by creating awareness through anti-bullying content and encouraging fitness participation. This role enhances your resume with significant volunteer hours and valuable training in soft skills such as leadership and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create awareness campaigns against bullying
• Facilitate engaging virtual fitness sessions
• Promote a welcoming and inclusive online atmosphere
• Represent YRES in all virtual engagements
Requirements:
• At least 12 years of age
• Passion for learning and volunteerism
• Commitment to a set schedule
• Proficiency in another language is beneficial
• Previous experience in volunteering is preferred
