Elevator Polishing Technician (Bronze & Stainless Steel) – Contract Project

We are seeking an experienced Elevator Polishing Technician to strip, polish, and refinish bronze and stainless steel residential elevator interiors.

This is a one-time project requiring professional-grade metal restoration and finishing.

Responsibilities:

Strip existing finish from bronze and stainless steel surfaces
Polish and restore metal panels to a uniform appearance
Apply lacquer and protective coatings
Remove oxidation, stains, and surface scratches
Prep and protect surrounding elevator surfaces
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Deliver a high-quality, even finish
Communicate progress and completion clearly
Materials & Tools:

Contractor must provide their own tools and polishing equipment
All materials and products must be approved before use
Required Qualifications:

Prior experience polishing and refinishing elevators
Experience working with bronze and stainless steel
Knowledge of stripping, polishing, and lacquer application
Strong attention to detail and safety practices
Reliable and punctual
Must speak English
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must be comfortable working as an independent contractor
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in residential or luxury building elevators
Ability to complete the project within 2–3 days
Professional and respectful on-site
